niece, aunt, friend, mother, grandmother has gone from us too soon. We entrust her to our
Saviour and to Eternal life with Him.
Patricia Diane Frost was born December 11, 1962 in Everett, Washington, the youngest of four
daughters to Fay Frost and Jo Ann Ohlsen Frost. She grew up in Everett, Wa. She graduated
from Best High School in 1982 in Kirkland. She attended church with her family at the Everett
Free Methodist Church. She overcame her dyslexic disability to complete an associates degree
in Early Childhood Education from North Seattle Community College. She was a beloved
preschool teacher, respite caregiver, and Special Education paraeducator in the Edmonds
School District for many years.
In her youth, Patty played soccer with her father coaching. She was a Rainbow Girl and a Jobś
Daughter. As an adult she greatly enjoyed scrapbooking. At her church in Mountlake Terrace
she was involved in providing community dinners for the hungry. Then in the past few years,
Patty became a fan of Ice Hockey and the Everett Silvertips. Patty was committed to her family
and made a priority of being with them.
Last summer, she married John Edwards, a friend from her youth. They became reacquainted
a few years ago at a friendś funeral. Patty took great pleasure in her roles as a wife to John and
as a mother to his children and a grandmother to his grandchildren. On Mondays and
Tuesdays, there were precious crafting and scrapbooking times with Lily and Ryder. There was
also a memorable Disneyland trip together.
Patty was a giver. With her time, her money and her energy, she invested in people. She was
very generous. Often, it seemed like she kept nothing back to take care of herself. Giving was
the language she was most fluent in.
Patty also loved her cats.
Patty was predeceased by her parents and by close friend Maryann Matuska. She is survived
by her husband John Edwards; her sisters Linda Campbell (Jerry), Janice Myrick(Alex) and Jaci
Hancock(Stephen); her sister-in-law Delia Macki; close family friend Kim Hallgren; her step
children Kristy Dow and JJ Edwards(Cassie); her grandchildren Lily Dow, Ryder Dow, Peyton
Edwards and Aiden Edwards; nieces and nephews Joshua and Tara Campbell, Jenny and Matt
Lindner, David Hancock, Daniel and Anna Hancock, Nicholas Myrick and Mitchell Myrick. Also
aunts, uncles, cousins and a few very dear friends.
Patty,
goodbye until we meet again.
