Hannah Roth, 86, of Marysville, WA, died on January 3, 2011. She was born Hannah Clarice Jacobsen on January 26, 1924 in Everett, WA to Carl and Carrie Jacobsen. She grew up in the Lake Goodwin, WA area and was a graduate in 1942 from Arlington High School where she met and married, Bob, her husband of 57 years.
Shortly after graduation, Bob went to Europe to fight in the war and Hannah went to work for the Army Corp of Engineers in Seattle, WA. She was a secretary for Lakewood Grade School and then bookkeeper for the family business, Bob's Appliance. Hannah loved to shop, travel, take family pictures and dance. She and Bob were members of the Everett Elks, Marysville Moose, and Everett Yacht Clubs.
She is survived by her sons, Al, Dan and Jim Roth (Carole); brother, Earl Jacobsen (Norma); sister-in-law, Lois Miner; brother-in-law, Dave Cunningham; and many nieces and nephews.
Hannah was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; sisters, Gladys Jacobsen, Christine Cunningham and Margaret Baunsgard. We would like to give special thanks to Jodi Price and Dawn Johnson for the tender loving care they gave to Hannah over the last three and a half years.
