David Flores – dedicated husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend – passed away on Wednesday February 15, 2023, in Everett Washington. He suffered sudden cardiac arrest and passed away peacefully with his family lovingly by his side after being removed from life-support days later. He was 48 years old.
David was born January 24, 1975, to Conrado Carrillo Flores and Estela Rodriguez in Lovelock, Nevada. While only living in Lovelock for 5 years before moving to Washington state, he always has a close connection to his hometown.
David attended Ballard High School and played varsity football all four years while making valuable relationships and memories with lifelong friends. During and after attending Ballard Highschool, David worked in his mother’s restaurant, Pepe’s, in downtown Seattle. He later worked for his brother in laws meat distribution business before becoming the new owner in 2011.
At 19 years old, he met his wife, Rebecca in Shoreline WA. in 1994. They were together for 6 years before marrying on July 8, 2000, and soon after welcomed their first child, Madalena. In short work, the family grew to five with the births of their second daughter Sierra and their son Canyon. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world and he was unendingly proud of his three children. He made sure that each one had every opportunity available to them and he was very proud of that as well.
In 2011, David and Rebecca became the new owners the meat distributor business and founded B&B Distributors Inc. They have successfully been small business owners for 12 years. He was an extremely hard worker, dedicated and determined to provide for his family and give them the life they deserved. He taught his children what it meant to have a good work ethic and what it means to provide for your family. He taught them the importance of dedication to family. Although David worked extremely hard his whole life, he made it a priority to spend time with his wife and children in the evening and weekends. He enjoyed spending his evenings and days off cooking for his family, hunting, camping, and watching the Dallas Cowboys play football. David’s passion for cooking was inspirational. He had perfected his work at the barbeque and used it to express his appreciation and love towards his family and friends, we will miss his amazing dinners. He was a true hunter and had been hunting for 35 years. He passed on the skill and passion to his son Canyon Flores and his two daughters. David hunted grouse, chukars and pheasants in eastern Washington with his family and hunting dog. In the summer his family spent time camping in Winthrop WA. and created valuable memories at Early Winters Creek where he wishes his ashes to be spread.
David had a relationship with God and will be doing these hobbies in Heaven.
David lived a short but fulfilling life surrounded by all the love and support anyone could ever ask for. He was just the kind of person who drew people in. He never lost his childlike spirit and love for life. Anyone who knew David knew that he was the most loving father, brother, cousin, and uncle a family could ask for and the friend you could always count on.
David was predeceased by his mother, Estela Rodriguez, brother Ernesto Flores. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca; his daughters Madalena Estela Flores and Sierra Karen Flores; his son Canyon Flores; his father Conrado Carrillo Flores; his brothers, Juan Carlos Flores, Conrado Flores JR, Eduardo Flores, Christopher Flores, and his sisters Rosa Isela Luquin and Cristal Flores; as well as many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
