Elizabeth Price Price Wright

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas William Wright, Jr.; sisters, Mabel P. Lucas, Lucille Price, Thelma P. Wills, Lil P. Harvey, Josephine P. Grissom and Frances P. Hobbs; brothers George M. Price, Jr. and Christian Lewis Price.

Mrs. Wright is survived by her daughters, Sheri Wright Gower and husband Edward, Lynn Wright Walker and husband Doug; grandson Dustin Wright Gower.

Mrs. Wright graduated from Blacksburg High School and was a 1938 graduate from the Richmond Cosmetology School. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Martinsville where she was a member of Placide Mitchell Sunday School Class. She also taught Sunday school and vacation bible school, worked in the food pantry, the WMU and Library. She was a Girl Scout leader, school room mother and member of the PTO. She was also very dedicated to the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, March of Dimes, Salvation Army, and UNICEF. She was a member of the Fairlawn Garden Club and the Garden Club of Virginia.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 28, 2016 at McKee-Stone Funeral Home with Reverend John Fulcher officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Burial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
