Charles Hampton Cross, 63, of Bassett, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. He was born in Martinsville, March 2, 1954 to Fred and Lois Grant Cross, both deceased.
Mr. Cross was a truck driver who enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a fan of NASCAR.
He is survived by two daughters, Ashley and Audrey Cross of Bassett; one sister, Ann C. Wickline (Michael), of Jamestown, NC; and a brother, Billy Cross (Lisa), of Versailles, KY.
A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Roselawn Burial Park.
