Pete was known for his love of baseball. He continued playing on various teams after high school, including the Hagerstown Braves beginning with their inaugural season in 1977 until 1983. He was an avid fan and watched the O’s every night and cheered every run, critiqued every mistake, and applauded every win.
Pete was a respected youth wrestling coach who devoted ten years to the Berkeley County Bears. He also enjoyed duckpin bowling and competed in several leagues throughout his adult life. But his biggest joy was supporting his children’s, and grandchildren’s, athletic and artistic endeavors from the sidelines.
