Born May 24, 1927 in Marfrance, WV, she was the daughter of the late Marshall and Georgia Pence.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Carolyn Denise Brown; one brother, Edward L. Pence; and two sisters, Mildred Susan DeMartino and Virginia Lorie Broyles.
She is survived by three daughters, Connie Lois Butterfield of Martinsburg, WV, Colleen Kay Barnes of Kenneth City, FL, and Carla Jean Laughlin of Jefferson Co., WV; two brothers, Calvin A. Pence of Fredericktown, OH and Billy Jo Pence of Mansfield, OH; four sisters, Ruby G. Grimmett of Gladwin, MI; Joyce B. Stewart of Martinsburg, WV; Jeanetta Mae Carper of Martinsburg, WV; and Geraldine Kay Parsons of Glengary, WV; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm on Friday, January 4, 2013 at Rosedale Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be at 11am on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Rosedale Funeral Home.
Interment to follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
