Evelyn M. Hettenhouser

Evelyn was born September 6, 1926 in {Pikeside} Martinsburg, WV. She was the daughter of Carl and Elsie Scenindiver Cook.

She worked as a nursing assistant for years at Colton Villa Nursing Center. In her spare time when she wasn’t with family, she would love to work puzzles or do latch hook rug kits. She also had her loving friend, “Rocky “her cat, that she loved by her side.

Evelyn will be sadly missed by her family, two sons, Robert Hettenhouser of Mercersburg, Pa and Robin Hettenhouser of Hagerstown, MD, three daughters, Judy Lucas, Cindy Zittle, and Penny Dorsey all of Hagerstown, MD., seven grandchildren, Robert and Mark Hettenhouser, Tanya Ball, Stacy Jamison, Natasha Hose, Chassidy Miner and Amanda Zittle, fourteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Hettenhouser, brother Carl Cook Jr., two sisters, Dorothy Miller and Betty Dodd and one great grandson.

Friends will be received on Thursday, from 6-8pm at Rosedale Funeral Home 917 Cemetery Road Martinsburg, WV

Services will be at the Funeral Home on Friday 5, 2018 at 11 am. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations are asked to be made to Holly Place 268 S Potomac St. Hagerstown MD 21740.
