Born on April 11, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Phillip Fraley and Mabel Shumaker.
Deborah ran her own daycare services for over twenty years, she was a member of Destination Church of Kearneysville, she enjoyed baking and cooking, and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Bunny Long and husband Jeff; a half-daughter, Angela Shoemaker and Hector Martinez; two sisters: Donna Fraley and Jeff Burkhart of Hedgesville and Phyllis DeBruyn and husband James of Kearneysville; grandchildren: Jeffery Long, Hector Martinez, and Isabella Martinez and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Deborah is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Simmons; a son, Robert Simmons Jr.; and two sisters: Connie McCarty and Bonnie Hartlove.
Friends will be received on Monday, February 17 from 6 to 8pm. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 18th at 2pm at Rosedale Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Rosedale Cemetery.
