Born on September 6, 1951 in Martinsburg, WV he was the son of the late Donald and Dorothy Malatt.
He was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints and loved his family dearly.
David is survived by his wife of 47 years, Donna Malatt; children: Dawayne and wife Patty, Debra and partner CJ, Daniel and partner Jennifer, Darla and partner George; grandchildren: Jadelle, Jordon, Jasmine, Julianna, Luis, Preston, Jolene, Andrew, Jaydon, Cameron, and Christopher; sisters: Dianne Webster and Darlene Malatt; great grandchildren: Corabella, Izzabella, Everett, Parker, Braiden and Nyla and former son in laws: Scott, Dave and John.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Katelynn Malatt and his mother in law, Clara Brown.
A memorial service will be held at The Church of Ladder Day Saints,1050 Lovelace Way Martinsburg WV 25401, on December 10, 2022 at 1 pm with a reception to follow.
