Mr. Beasley was born to the late Anthony and Sarah Youngblood in Augusta, GA. He adored his family and loved tracking his children and grandchildren to see how their day was going. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, riding and watching Andy Griffith. Mr. Beasley was a traditional man who enjoyed staying home and also making chili for his family.
Mr. Beasley is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Sarah Youngblood Beasley; and sisters, Rennie Beasley Murrell and Cynthia Beasley. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Betty Jean Beasley; children, Tony Beasley (Tanya) and Lynne Lane (Chuck); sister, Joyce Bethea (David); and grandchildren, Casie Beasley (James Scott), Chase, Mason, Jesse, and Lynnsey Lane; and several nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Columbia Road. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Friday, June 24, 2022 at the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
