Harlem, GA- Mr. Vernon E. Hensley entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 18, 2018. Vernon had a love for the outdoors and spent much of his free time fishing, hunting and playing golf. His most special moments were those spent with his family, especially his “baby girl”. He retired from King Mill with 25 years of dedicated service then later was employed at Wal-mart and worked 15 years before retiring a second time.
He was preceded in death by his parents; William and Eloise Hensley; a brother, Clarence Odell Harrelson and sister, Susan H. Smith.
Left to cherish his precious memories is his loving daughter, Karen (Justin) Fulmer; grandchildren, Blake Fulmer, Dylan Fulmer and Payton Fulmer; brothers, James Hensley, Harry (Dorothy) Hensley, Billy (Jean) Hensley and sister, Bobbie (Dennis) Partain.
The family will be receiving friends 6 PM until 8 PM Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the Columbia Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral.
