Rebecca Ann McClure

Rebecca was born in Huntington, WV, on July 14, 1962, to the late Bill and Elizabeth Pittsonberger. Rebecca was a 1980 graduate of Vinson High School in Huntington, WV, and a student of Marshall University. Although Rebecca moved to Georgia in 1996, West Virginia was always close to her heart. Since she came to Augusta, she was the property manager of Champions Pines Apartment Complex and will be greatly missed by her work family.

She is preceded in death by her parent’s and her brother, William “Mike” Pittsonberger. Survivors include her brother Ray Patrick Pittsonberger of Huntington, WV, her four beloved sons, Bradley S. May, Shane M. May, Chase W. May, and Peyton T. McClure, all of Augusta, GA, and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank her friends who supported her through her illness especially Donna, Michelle, Becky and Lisa of Augusta as well as Barbara and Dick Crawford of Charlottesville, VA. The family would also like to give a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Ayushi Chauhan and her nurses and staff at 5 South at AU Health for the care they provided Rebecca. The family will be forever grateful to you. At her request, services will be private for family only.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with Peyton’s continued care. Elliott Sons Funeral Home of Martinez, GA, is assisting the family. Please leave your fond memories and condolences.
