Brenda was born in Aiken South Carolina. She lived in many different states including Phoenix, AZ, San Antonio, TX, was where Brenda called home, and most recently Raleigh, NC. She retired from Atena after 32 years of service as an Insurance Customer service representative. She was outgoing and friendly; she never met a stranger. Brenda loved gardening, making party decorations and crafting flowers. She especially loved to travel. Brenda was an avid bowler, and she was a member of several leagues, and she regularly bowled in tournaments both with her women friends as well as her husband. She was a league director in the Arizona Bowlerettes and enjoyed laughing and joking with friends while playing Bunko.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Gene Mueller, her parents Albert Trappe and Mary, her sister Linda Scott and her brother Mike Beck. She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years Jim Adcox, her sons Walter, Wesley and Wade Mueller. Their wives Natalee and Kelly. Her grandchildren: Abby, Emma, Corban, McKinzie and a new one due in December. She is also survived by Jim's daughters Jennifer Hardy, her husband Joe, and granddaughter Cecily. Also, his daughter Rebecca Franklin-Adcox and his grandson Jarron Franklin. She is also survived by her brothers, Danny Beck and his wife Rita and Donnie Beck and his wife Debbie.
A visitation for Brenda will be held Monday, October 14, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez, GA 30907. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 1:00 PM, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez, GA 30907. Followed by interment at Pineview Memorial Gardens, 450 W Five Notch Rd, North Augusta, SC.
