Roland Clarence Barrilleaux Jr.

He leaves behind his loving wife, of 32 years, Diane Reiss Barrilleaux of Harvey, Louisiana; his daughter, AmyLynn Schexnayder of Seattle, Washington; his sisters, Betty Henry, Hope Verbois of Marrero, Louisiana, and Joy Armstrong of Metairie, Louisiana; his brother, Mark Barrilleaux of Westwego, Louisiana; and his two grandchildren; Julia Diane Schexnayder and Noah Reiss Schexnayder of Seattle, Washington.

Roland is preceded in death by his parents, Edwina and Roland Barrilleaux, Sr.

Roland was a native of Marrero, Louisiana and resident of Harvey, Louisiana for 23 years. He graduated from West Jefferson High School in 1964, and went on to serve in the United States Navy from 1963 to 1967. He eventually retired from Jefferson Parish as a Stationary Engineer. Roland was a member of the VFW Post 3121 and a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Marrero, Louisiana.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church located at 4401 7th Street in Marrero, Louisiana.
