Robert John Templet

Robert John Templet Sr. passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday morning, July 26, 2017. He was 79 years old. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Elizabeth Templet. Loving father of Robert Templet Jr., Darrell Paul Templet, and the late Kelley Ann Templet. Grandfather of Wendy Mayon, Troy Mayon, Kevin Mayon, and Jessica Mayon. Great-grandfather of 6. Brother of Edna Bellagner, Shirley Sigur, June Albarado, Beverly Templet, and the late Harry Templet and Herbert Templet. Son of the late Severin and Edna Templet. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. “Bobby” was a lifelong resident of Marrero and proudly retired from Avondale Shipyard after of 35 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed race car tracks and was a diehard football fan. Bobby was a loving husband and father, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at HARVEST TIME FELLOWSHIP, 3401 8th Street, Harvey, on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 11:00. Visitation will begin at 9:00.
