Rachel Edna Adams Guidroz

Rachel Adams Guidroz joined her family in Heaven on Monday, February 20, 2012 at the age of 80. She was the beloved wife of the late Melvin J. Guidroz, the loving father of Glenn D. Guidroz (Yvonne) and the late Gordon W. Guidroz (Jan) and the devoted grandmother of Eric Guidroz, Dawnita Snell (Brian), Leslie Bordelon (John) and Jason Guidroz (Cecilia). She was the great-grandmother of Keilah, Wade, Christopher, John, Jr. and Jaycee. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Davis Adams and Lucia Plaisance Adams and the sister of Rena Borras, Dennis Adams, the late Irvin Adams, David Adams, Andrew Adams, Alvin Adams, Charles Adams, Mabel Comeaux, Edith Babineaux, Hazel Cooper, Esma Adams and Esther Adams. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services from Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 beginning at 9:00 AM and lasting until 1:00 PM at which time a Service will be held in the Chapel.
