Peter Patrick Caulfield, Jr. passed away on Tuesday Evening, March 12, 2013. He was just shy of 94 years old. Beloved husband of the late Helen Verdin Caulfield. Father of the late Judy (Jimmy) Plaisance, Crawford (Veronica) Caulfield, Barbara (Tilden) Creppel, Kirk (the late Debbie) Caulfield, Vina (Doug) Buckley, the late Willie Caulfield, Katy (Dwayne) Boudreaux, Roland (Recy) Caulfield, and the late Daniel Caulfield. Also survived by 25 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, Peter A. and Mary A. Caulfield. He was a lifelong resident of Lafitte, and a proud World War II veteran. He will be dearly loved and greatly missed by all of us. Relatives and Friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from Westside LEITZ-EAGAN, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Saturday Afternoon, March 16, 2013 at 1:00. Visitation will be held from 7:00 in the evening until Midnight on Friday, and resuming from 10:00 in the morning until the service on Saturday. Interment will be in Fleming Cemetery, Lafitte.
