Patricia “Patsy” Ann Jenny Hebert, departed this life peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Hebert, she was a native of New Orleans and lifelong resident of the Westbank.
Survived by her Children Michael (Randi) Hebert, Denise Groetsch and Jenny Chestnut. She will be greatly missed by her Grandchildren Nicholas (Shari) Hebert, Megan Matherne, Alanna (William) McIntire, Casey Groetsch, Stefany Groetsch, Gavin (Hannah) Chestnut, Molly Groetsch, Nathaniel Hebert and Maximillian Hebert and Great-Grandchildren Ethan Hebert, Grady Matherne, Kinley Hebert, Arlie Matherne, Avery Chestnut, Harper McIntire, Remy Chika, Amelia Chestnut, Brantley Hebert and Quinn McIntire.
She is also survived by her youngest brother, Robert “Bobby” Jenny (Cheri), as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews who loved her dearly.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, the late Aloysius “Al” and Eva Alonzo Jenny and siblings Aloysius “Jack” Jenny and Mary-Margaret “Margie” Schonekas.
Patsy’s infectious laugh was loud and vibrant and she cherished moments shared with her loved ones. A proud volunteer, Patsy gave her time weekly to the Auxiliary of West Jefferson Medical Center working in the Craft Room for over 25 years. She was also a member of The Marrero Chateau Dames Homemakers Club for more than 42 years and an active member of the Marrero-Estelle Senior Center.
A devout woman of unwavering faith and lifelong parishioner of Visitation of Our Lady Catholic Church in Marrero, Louisiana.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral mass in the chapel of Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, Louisiana on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 1:00PM. Parlors will be open Saturday from 10:00AM-11:00AM for Immediate Family, and for Friends from 11:00AM until Mass time. Interment will be held at a later date.
