Martin J. Roy of Waggaman, Louisiana died Friday, September 6, 2013 at the age of 78. Beloved Husband of the late Annie Dicket Roy. Son of the late John Baptiste Roy and Armina Aymond Roy. Father of Christopher Roy (Cathy), Don Roy, and Peggy Roy. Brother of the late Emile Roy and Marie Ducote, as well as half-brother of Jimmy Ducote, Mary Jane Ducote, Bobby Ducote, and Judy Ann Ducote. Brother-in-law of Helen Caronna, Mable Cavallino, Keith Dicket, and the late Betty Dicket. God-father of Lori Landry, and Kevin and Brad Salsbury. Also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces and Nephews. He was a US Army veteran.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Monday, September 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM.
