Linda F. Braswell

Linda “Queen” Dale Theresa Fabre Braswell passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Devoted wife of the late John “Jake Braswell, Jr. and a loving mother of Nancy B. Wainwright and John Paul Braswell. A proud grandmother of Ashley, Amber, Cheyenne, Gabe and great grandmother of Dylan, Jasmine, Josh, Logen and Luna. Daughter of the late Laura Adams Fabre and Ernest Felix Fabre. Sister of Laura Daily, Donna Fabre, Vickie Faucheaux, Kathy Sarah, Ernest Fabre, Jr., Donald Fabre, David Fabre and preceded in death by Nathan Fabre, Joy Ann Fabre and Patricia Corely. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Age 69, a native of Harvey, LA and a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. “Queen” enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with them and especially telling them what to do. The family would like to express thanks to all who showed their compassionate care for “Queen” especially Ruth Ann, Mechy and the staff of Heart of Hospice.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday November 8, 2014 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway.
