Joseph Armand Rodrigue Jr. passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the age of 76. He was the beloved husband of Doris Rodrigue for over 54 years. Father of Joseph Rodrigue III (Wendy), and Harvey Rodrigue (Carmen). Son of the late Joseph Armand “Tiger” Rodrigue Sr., and Elsie Rodrigue. Grandfather of Brittany Usie (Paul), Ashley Rodrigue (Dalton), Amber Rodrigue, and Keith Guidroz (Mandy). Great grandfather of Zowie Usie, Ayden Breaux, Kendall Guidroz, and Kenzie Guidroz. The family would like to thank the staff of Heart of Hospice for their wonderful care. He was a lifelong resident of the West Bank, and was a person who loved people unconditionally, and was loved by people in return.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Wednesday, “Hump Day!”, February 14, 2018 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Friends and relatives are encouraged to attend. Interment will be in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Westwego.
