John "Hooks" A. Brown Jr.

John “Hooks” A. Brown, Jr. was called home at the age of 30, on Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Johnny was born on June 17, 1984, in New Orleans, LA. He was a loving husband to Tonya Lynn Brown and a cherished father to Alexis Marie Septh. He was a loved son to his mother and step father, Tammy Lynn Cheramie and Henry “Mike” Cheramie and his father and step mother, John A. Brown, Sr. and Peggy Brown. Johnny was a cherished brother to Brandy, Colleen, Amanda and Joshua. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Janet Manno and Anna Brown, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Johnny was a former truck driver for U.S. A. Truck, Inc. and traveled the United States from coast to coast. He missed his driving but most of all, he loved being with his beautiful baby girl, Alexis, his soulmate, Tonya and his family and friends. He enjoyed the occasional camping and fishing trips and those trips always included his family.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Friday, September 5, 2014 at 5:00 pm at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy., Marrero, LA. Visitation beginning at 2:00 pm. The interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to assist with the funeral expenses.
