Joann Marie (Johanna) Strong, a resident of Terrytown, Louisiana for the past 13 years and a native of Algiers, Louisiana, passed into a Peaceful Eternal Rest on Saturday, September 15, 2018. Daughter of the late John W. Strong and Thelma Chiasson Strong, and stepfather Richard (Dickie) Thompson was a very big part of the family. Sadly missed by her two daughters: Angel Dawn Strong and Adele Dominique Strong and beloved companion, Tommy J. Hebert. Adoring grandmother of her two precious grandchildren Ava Rose and Jackson Collins who were her priceless treasures. Sister of Marlene Strong Verdin (the late Dale) and Toni Lynn Strong. Joann is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expy., Marrero, LA on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 1:00 pm.
