Davis, or "Ziggy" as most people called him, was a lifelong resident of Westwego. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked at Celotex for a time and was a self-employed fisherman, trapper and a master wood boat builder. He also worked and spent a lot of time with his kids on the Westwego Shrimp Lot. Ziggy was a good man with a very big heart. He was always willing to do whatever he could to help others in their time of need. He had many friends that he cherished and will be missed by all who were blessed to have known him.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Guardian Angel Hospice for the compassion and care that they have provided during this time.
