Bryan “Pops” Muth left us way to soon on October 22, 2021.
Words truly cannot do justice to the impact Bryan’s life had on those who had the honor of knowing him. We shall always remember his intellect, humor, charm, painful honesty and extraordinary heart. He will remain our beloved son, father, grandfather, partner, nephew, cousin and friend.
Chief Muth served a highly decorated 40 year career in the United States Marine Corp, United States Air Force and Louisiana Air National Guard. He retired holding the highest enlisted rank of Chief Master Sergeant.
Bryan was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a life-long resident of the Westbank. He was a 1974 graduate of John H. Martyn High School as well as numerous Air Force Certification Programs, including CCAF Degree in Air Field Management.
He was the son of Peter F. Muth and the late Emilie Richoux Lynch; devoted father of Brittany Lizette Muth and the late Baron Bryan Muth; step-daughter Anna Rub (Bobby Odum), grandfather of Cruz Grandolfo and Cayson Odum; brother of Kevin J. Muth and Kristina Muth Cantrelle (Brady). Bryan is survived by his aunt Marian Muth Schexnayder and his companion, Mary Alice Salcido. Bryan leaves behind his dear friend Frank Piascik and countless treasured cousins, friends and fellow military members. He will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known him.
Bryan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Laurent Maurice Richoux and Louise Duffour Richoux and paternal grandparents Peter Frank Muth, Sr. and Marie Eddia Rodrique Muth.
Bryan’s celebration of Life will be hosted on November 20, 2021 for family and friends.
