Billy Allen Gordon Sr.

He was the beloved husband of Judy Naquin Gordon. Father of Shannon Gordon and Billy Gordon Jr. Grandfather of Lisa Marie Gordon and Leann Gordon. Son of the late Bill and Leona Barnett Gordon. Brother of Pat Gordon, Oscar Gordon, Ruthie Fortner, Polly Gordon, and Shirley Hildalgo, as well the late Walter Gordon, Joe Gordon, and Paul Gordon. He also thought of Arthur Gisclair as a son and Loretta Avant as a daughter, as well as her son Keith Thompson as a grandson. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, as well as his canine companions, Snoopy, Buddy, and his "little girl" Sally.

He was a good man who extended his family willingly to those who needed him. He was an emotional teddy bear, despite his gruff grizzly like exterior. He overcame enormous challenges in his life to be an amazing man. To get to know him was to love him. He was a prolific story teller. He loved hunting and fishing, and anything outdoors.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation to the family to help defer the cost of his last illness and the service.
