Jimmy C. Toler, age 77, of West went to his final resting place on Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Adams Funeral Home Chapel with the Chaplin Greg Knippa officiating. Burial will follow in the Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends 10:00 am, Saturday until service time.
Jimmy was born March 8,1934 in Marlin to Homer Toler and Pearl Toler Moore. He worked 10 years for the Waco Glass Plant and then spent 25 years with theTexas Veterans Commission serving our Nation's veterans. Jimmy was a long time member of the First Baptist Church of Marlin, a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a Mason.
Jimmy was proceded in death by his father Homer, who owned Toler Grocery in Marlin for 20 years, mother Pearl Moore of Reagan and twin daughters, Linda and Leah Toler.
Survivors include daughter Lori Holle and husband Stuart of Hewitt; son Larry Toler of Jewett; grandson Aaron Toler of Waco; brother Donald Toler and wife Dora of San Antonio; his caregiver and mother of his children, Faye Toler of Waco; niece Lisa Lange and husband John and their son Joshua of Flower Mound and numerous cousins.
