Gladys Marie Denton

Gladys Marie Denton, 82, of Marlin, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024. A memorial service for Gladys will be held Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Adams Funeral Home, 129 Coleman Street, Marlin, Texas 76661. Following the memorial service will be a memorial service at 3:00 PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4911 N. I 35, North Frontage Road, Waco, Texas 76705.

Mrs. Denton was born on January 6, 1942 in Hamilton, Texas to Walter and Meta (Rudolph) Sohms. She married Donald James Denton in September 1963. Mrs. Denton loved crocheting, coloring, sightseeing, traveling to visit family and friends, gardening, cooking and taking care of others, but her true love was her family; especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Survivors include her son; Danny Ray Denton and wife, Kelly, daughter; Dianna Lynn Denton, brother; James Sohms and his wife, Elaine, grandchildren; Sean Kirkpatrick and his wife, Jessica, Russell Denton, Jessica Denton and husband, Michael and Colleen Spence and her husband, David and 8 great grandchildren.
