Bobby Radle, also known as Digger and PaPa, was born on August 17, 1945. He peacefully passed away on July 4, 2024, at the age of 78 in his hometown of Marlin, TX. Bobby found joy in various hobbies throughout his life, with hunting and fishing being his absolute favorites. He relished the thrill of the hunt and the tranquility of the water. He loved nothing more than casting his fishing lines and spending time in his favorite place in the world, the Brazos River. An avid music lover, Bobby's favorite bands and musical artists included George Jones, Conway Twitty, and Ray Price. He was also a fan of anything with Dolly Parton. Sports-wise, Bobby was a big fan of baseball and football. He enjoyed watching his grandsons play, especially as Mart Panthers. He even offered coaching advice to his son-in law. Professionally, Bobby was involved in the construction industry, establishing Bobby Radle Custom Homes. He took pride in his career achievements and the homes he built. He also farmed and ranched for many years and a member of St. John's Episcopal Church in Marlin.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 53 years, Nancy Radle, son David Perkins, daughter and son-in-law DeDe and Shane Martin, and grandsons Kellen and Kyler Martin. Two sisters Charlene Campbell and Marylu Tindle and husband Butch, as well as, numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Edith Radle.
Known for his strong will and hard-headedness, Bobby's defining personality traits left a lasting impact on those who knew him. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and loved entertaining others. Bobby Radle will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May his memory be cherished, and may he find eternal peace.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Adams Funeral Home with Mr. Chester Springfield officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ken Wells, Cody Wells, David Perkins, Mike Davis, Kyler Martin and Keller Martin. Honorary Pallbearers include Rockney Terry and Robbie Thigpen.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude or St. John's Episcopal Church.
