William Ricky Gravitt

Rick worked for the city of Powder Springs for twenty-three years as supervisor of the sanitation department. He was the go-to guy that truly knew everything there was to know. He loved the outdoors, any time he could get away, you would find him with a fishing pole in hand, fishing. Rick loved cheering his Alabama Crimson Tide, other than his family, Rick loved the Lord. He was an ordained Deacon, serving at Hiram First Baptist Church.

Rick is survived by his loving wife; Dianne Gravitt, daughter and son-in-law; Samantha and Jonathan Danford, son and daughter-in-law; Adam and Lindsey Gravitt as well as three grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 9, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hiram First Baptist Church, 4211 Hiram Sudie Rd, Hiram, GA 30141. The funeral service will follow at 12:30. Burial will follow the service at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Hiram First Baptist Church, 4211 Hiram Sudie Rd, Hiram, GA 30141 in Ricks honor.
