Sarina Lauren Shadeed

She was a graduate of Walton High School, Kennesaw State University with a BS in Secondary Education and Social Studies and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.

Sarina never met a stranger. When you spoke to her you had her undivided attention. She made you feel like you were the only person in the room. She had several nicknames, Miss CIA, because she always had a conspiracy theory, Miss You-Tube, because she was a fix-it specialist on anything to do with technology, and Miss Google, because if you couldn’t find it on You-Tube you could always Google it. Sarina was a lover of dogs, shopping, gardening and cooking.

Survived by her father, Dr. Baheeg Lawrence Shadeed, MD; mother, Carolyn Murphy Shadeed; siblings, Susie Hagley, Phillip Shadeed, Juliano Shadeed and Natalia Shadeed.

Sarina never missed a family event, birthday, holiday, graduation, etc. Sarina cared more for others than herself. She was a wonderful Godmother and spoiled her younger cousins.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held Saturday January 21 at 12 PM at St. John Chrysostom Melkite Catholic Church, 1428 Ponce De Leon Avenue, NE, Atlanta, GA 30307. Entombment will follow in the Abby at Westview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends between the hours of 11 AM until 12 PM at the church.
