Robert Alan Westbrook

Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on January 5, 1953, Bobby grew up and lived in Marietta, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, F.J. and Mary Elizabeth Westbrook, and his brother, Jay Brian Westbrook.

Bobby graduated from Reinhardt College and built a career with the Columbian Chemical Company. Throughout his life, he gave generously to his community, particularly through his involvement with the Marietta Kiwanis Club, where he was an active member.

As a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Marietta, Bobby was involved in his church’s mission work, participating in mission trips and supporting efforts to help those in need.

Bobby is survived by many friends who remember him for his warm heart, love of travel, and willingness to lend a hand. His presence in the community will be missed.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, November 14,2024 in the Chapel of Mayes Ward Dobbins Funeral Home in Marietta. The burial will take place following the service at Kennesaw Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service.
