Robert Ray Ridge Sr.

He was never afraid to speak his mind and take care of his family, which he loved dearly. He took joy in making family trips to the beach, mountains, and how could we forget, the casino! Born in Davidson County, TN in 1931 on the 11th day of August. Robert grew up serving in funeral homes and delivering milk, but distributing meat is what he really enjoyed. He finally retired from APC Meat in 1994.

He will truly be missed by his surviving family. Brother, Charles Willis Ridge, and sister, Suzanne Dixon, husband Mike; Son, Robert Ridge Jr. and his wife, Doris; Daughter, Linda Myers and her husband, Billy; grandchildren, Tina Jackson, Thomas Ridge, Pamela Barnard, Sheree Cook, Elizabeth May, Amy Ridge, Will Myers, and 15 wonderful great grandchildren.

Preceded by his wife, Betty Jean Ridge; son, Granville Wayne Ridge; father, Jordan Willis Ridge, and mother, Ladye Frances Ridge; as well as brother, James Ridge.

A Family viewing will be held Thursday 4:00PM until 5:00PM with an open visitation from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held Friday June, 21 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Georgia Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Audie Wells officiating.

Interment will follow in Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
