Robert E. Dupree, 84, of Marietta passed away Monday, April 21, 2014. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 2pm in the chapel of Marietta Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12-2pm before the service. Mr. Dupree was a native of Bartow County and moved to Marietta in the early 1940’s. He was a graduate of Marietta High School. He owned and operated Dupree Plumbing Co. since 1958. Mr. Dupree was a member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife Faye Dupree, daughter, Debbie Barnett, Acworth; son, Robert Michael Dupree (Cathy), Powder Springs; grandchildren, Emily, Josh (Jolynn), and Jason (Julie); 6 great grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren; and his caregivers Karen and Cordelia.
