Mrs. Karen Christian Peterson

Loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend died on October 31, 2010 from breast cancer. Karen was born in Chicago, IL on August 10, 1959 to Robert and Gertrude Christian. Karen is survived by her husband Greg Peterson and their children Mark, David and Mary. Karen is also survived by her mother Gertrude (Marietta) and siblings Greg (Marietta), Linda (Marietta), Gary (Lockport, IL) and Glenn (Cannon Falls, MN) and their families.

Karen’s greatest joy came from being a wife and mother. Karen loved her family, friends and her community. Raised in Dolton, IL Karen attended Creighton University in Omaha, NE where she met her husband Greg who she married on January 25, 1986. Greg and Karen made their home in Marietta, GA.

Karen most deeply loved her husband and their three children. She participated and supported her children fully in all of their activities. She will be missed by her family and many friends.

The funeral mass will be held Saturday November 6, 2010 at 11:00AM at:

The Catholic Church of St. Ann

Marietta, GA 30062

Interment at Arlington Cemetary will follow the funeral mass.
