Mr. John William Blair, age 64, of Marietta, passed away October 31, 2020. He was a graduate of Wheeler High School in 1974 and an employee of the Cobb County Waste Water Management system for 24 years, past Master of the Palestine Lodge #486 F&AM in Atlanta. He also was a delivery driver for Carithers Flowers for over 20 years. Mr. Blair loved Georgia Football, Falcons, Braves, NASCAR, NFL7, Fishing, history buff and traveling with his wife.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Don Seward and Viola Imogene Blair; paternal grandmother, Grace Jones, mother-in-law, Nancy May, niece, Emma Grace Joyner and his nephew, Freddie Cordle.
Survived by his wife of 22 years, Pam May Blair; sisters, Janet Clayman and her husband Don, Judy Nichols; step brothers, Tim Tate and his wife, Lynn, Rick Tate and his wife, Susan; nieces and nephews, Lori Clayman,, Kelly Cordle, Tom Clayman and his wife, Theresa, Quinton Nichols, Macy Tate, John Tate, Lindsey Tate, Ashley Tate, Garrett May, Austin May; great nieces and nephews, Lily Joyner, Jackson Moore and Addison Clayman; father-in-law, Bill May; brother-in-law, Patrick May and his wife, Brandi, and numerous special friends and co-workers.
Graveside services will be held Saturday Nov. 7 at 11 AM at Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery with Palestine Lodge #486 providing Masonic Honors.
