Ms. Martha Jean Tucker, 68, of Marietta, GA passed away November 19, 2013. She was born on October 3, 1945 to the late Tyrus Cobb and Alice Lora Lindsey in Cumming, GA. Jean enjoyed a career as an accountant, and was devoted to her most recent employer for the past 18 years. She was an active member of East Side Baptist Church and a devoted grandmother. She will be greatly missed. Jean was preceded in death by her brother, Everett Lindsey. She is survived by her son, Daniel Tucker (Stephanie), daughter, Deirdre Cooke (William), and grandchildren, Shelby, Travis and Paige Cooke, Jolie and Jillian Tucker. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 2:00pm in the chapel of H.M. Patterson & Son Canton Hill, Marietta, GA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
