Bernadette Louise Neal, age 49, of Marietta, GA passed away on March 17, 2022. She was born in 1972 to Ronald Bruce and Judith Ann (Graf) Neal. She graduated from University of South Alabama with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Bernadette worked as a financial controller at both Restaurant Brands International and Crawford Communications.
Her main passion in life was being a mom, godmother, and aunt. Her son, Aidan, was the light of her life. Bernadette was very devoted to helping him with his schoolwork and she enjoyed attending his sports activities, school programs, and traveling with him. As an Atlanta Braves baseball fan, she attended many games with Aidan which was one of their favorite pastimes. Family was very important to Bernadette. She was always willing to rush to a family member’s side when needed. However, Bernadette also had no problem outwitting them in a game of cards or Wordle. Bernadette had a sharp sense of humor and could produce a witty comment in most any situation. One of her favorite places was the beach, specifically Gulf Shores, but she also traveled to many state parks around the country and spent time in Italy. In her youth, Bernadette was a Girl Scout, cheerleader, and enjoyed ballet. In college, Bernadette was a member of the Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority and held the office of the treasurer. Our brave and beloved Bernadette will be greatly missed by all her friends and family.
