James Richard Mursell

Mursell, James Richard, 54, of Deerfield Beach passed away on September 24, 2013. Jim was born on October 23, 1958 in Hollywood, Florida. On December 8, 1981 he was Honorably Discharged from the United States Army, where he served for three years. Jim enjoyed fishing, watching sports and Nascar, and drinking his BudLight. He worked for 20 years with the City of Coral Springs building maintenance.

He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved to help others as much as he could and expect nothing in return.

He is survived by his wife, Terry; son, Rick; daughter in law, Barbara; five grandsons, Symon (17), Austin (11), Chris (9), Jordan (7), Brycen (4); three brothers, Scott, Dan, and Skip Mursell; one sister, Trudy Davis; father in law, Richard Ross; mother in law, Marilyn Ross; brothers in law, Hugo Kessinger, Eddy (Patty) Ross, Tim (Tina) Ross and John Leighton; sisters in law, Joanne Mursell, Amy Mursell, Nancy (Richard) Engert, Judy (Trent) Ward, Lory (Ken) Freeman; many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.

Predeceased by parents, Willliam and Marjorie Mursell, sister, Shirley Kessinger; brother in law, John Davis; and sister in law, Kathy Leighton.

He was an amazing role model to his son and grandchildren who will continue to live his legacy!
