Eathel Jane Greenwood-Bennett, 81 formerly of Margate, FL passed away peacefully on September 14th, 2022 at home with her family and friends by her side. She was predeceased by her parents Ralph Lee Greenwood and Eathel and Leonard Cafferty and husband David M. Bennett. She is survived by her children a son Mark (Richard) Ehrets, Treasure Island, FL, Daughters Melody (Rick) Karp, Coral Springs, FL and Michelle (Marc) Chiavetta Coral Springs, FL, her beloved cat Spanky Lee and forever sister Jean (Harvey) Smith, Estill, SC, Brother and Sister-in-law Kenneth and Betty Lou Bennett, PA several step grandchildren and great granddaughter Ashlyn Karp, several cousins and friends. Eathel Jane retired from Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Binghamton, NY. She loved her work and caring for her patients. Eathel Jane lived in Great Bend, PA most of her life. She always had music playing and loved to dance. She also enjoyed fast cars and even placed second in a powder puff derby. Her summer getaways at Seneca Lake where she enjoyed camping and boating with her friends and family. She loved children and they loved her too. Eathel Jane loved gardening. She had the most beautiful flowers and she grew the best tomatoes. Eathel Jane loved all of her children deeply, she moved to Florida in 2014 to be with them. She and her girls loved to shop, get pedicures and then go out to lunch together. Eathel Jane was an Angel on earth and is now an Angel in Heaven. We will miss her dearly. The family will have a private memorial at their convenience. Arrangements are under the direction of Kraeer Funeral Home, Margate, FL.
