He was born March 6, 1960 in Chicago to Robert J. and Carolyn (Miller) Cenar. On March 11, 1989 he married Dian Onyett.
Bob’s legacy is one of gentleness and kindness towards all he came in contact with. He took great pride in his career of more than 30 years with Midwest Trading Horticultural Supplies, Inc. and was integral in building the company from its inception and was ultimately President and COO. He truly enjoyed his co-workers and was known as a fair and caring leader.
He loved horseback riding, hiking, camping, and blazing trails at his “farm”. And he never gave up on the Chicago Bears. He was happiest out in the Rocky Mountains and had the adventure of his life while on a horseback camping trip in Navajoland, Canyon de Chelly, and Monument Valley.
He is survived by his wife Dian; his father Robert; his sisters, Karen (James) Wellhausen and Lori (Paul) Trost; his nieces and nephews Jamie, Jimbo, and Jackie Wellhausen and Adam, Amber, Alex and Andrew Trost; and also loved by many other members of the Onyett, Loya, Kappenman, Miller, Wandling, Chapman, and Warner families.
