Diana L. Gumprecht Stock

She was born on October 19, 1953, in Great Lakes to Richard and Marilyn (Kunde) Gumprecht Sr. On December 20, 1997, she married Kurt Stock in Belvidere.

She grew up in Union and spent the last 25 years in Belvidere. Her religion was a very important aspect of her life. She loved people and always put everyone before herself. She enjoyed crafts of all types. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend. She also had a very important dog in her life, Buddy.

She is survived by her husband, Kurt; her children, Aimee (Larry) Maule and Jim (Heather) Creighton; her grandchildren, Tyler and Jaedyn; her mother, Marilyn Grever; her brother, Richard (Janice) Gumprecht Jr.; her nephews, Eric and Brian; her parents-in-law, Robert and Arlette; her brothers-in-law, Mike (Judy) Stock and Stuart (Dana) Stock; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father and her stepfather, Earl “Red” Grever.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8pm on Friday, January 28, at Zion Lutheran Church, 412 Jackson St., Marengo. Visitation will continue from 10am to the 11am funeral service on Saturday, January 29, at the church.

Interment will be in Highland Gardens of Memories.
