MARBLEHEAD - Wendy Stephanie McDonald, 69, died suddenly in her home on May 17, 2021. Wendy was the daughter of Robert and June D. (Dennis) McDonald and was a true Marbleheader, born on September 6, 1951 at the Mary A. Alley Hospital on Franklin St. She was a lifelong resident of Marblehead.
Wendy was a well-loved waitress of Rosalie’s Restaurant for over 20 years. One could always find Wendy sitting at Goldthwaite Beach with her mother and often times her beloved Doberman Ciara. Wendy raised her twin children, Stephanie June and Sean Robert in Marblehead. Her children were her pride and joy.
Wendy is survived by her son, Sean Robert McDonald, her daughter, Stephanie June Monahan, her husband, Chris, their daughter, Madison Rae, her Miracle Granddaughter and their beloved dog, Bear.
Wendy is also survived by her brother, Scott McDonald, his wife Shauna and their four children, Meg, Mathew, Casey and Cameron; her sister, Robin McDonald, Robin’s two children, Robin Ann, her husband, James Goode their children, James and Lincoln; and Brittany Dolinger and her daughter, Bria.
Wendy is predeceased by her parents, Robert McDonald and June (Dennis) Reed, as well as her brother, Parker Reed and her nephew, Dustin McDonald.
Visiting hours will be held at Eustis & Cornell of Marblehead, 142 Elm St., Marblehead, MA, Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 12-2pm.
