Roland Cotton Hall, Sr., 77, of Gloucester, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2013, after a brief illness.
Roland was born in New York City on October 20, 1935. He graduated from St. Mark’s School in 1953 and received a Bachelor’s degree from Harvard University in 1957.
He lived in Marblehead and worked in investment banking for many years in Boston. He also lived in Bermuda for a number of years. He was an avid Red Sox fan.
Roland is survived by his former wife, Nancy Johansen, and five of his children: Elizabeth, Catherine, Kristin, Roland and Christopher. He was extremely proud of his 14 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Carole Ann Murphy, and his beloved daughter, Linda Ann Aiello.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
