I returned to FL after a summer in Oregon to learn that my dear friend Betty had passed .  I was in shock and my heart was saddened.  I met Betty many years ago here in Fl, and learned that she came from Marblehead, and I came from Beverly.  We had many things in common. She introduced me to Osvaldo our great Zumba instructor. She loved to dance and came to my line dance class every week- she even bought a pair of boots! I will remember Betty for all the fun things we did together, and will picture her beautiful smile.  I will miss you my friend

It won’t seem real until we get back to FL and we don’t see Betty’s smile.  During Covid, we sat under the Big Banyon tree always 8 feet apart, and first talked about what we watched on TV the night before, then politics and then food which made us so hungry we packed up and went home !!!  Many many laughs, shopping trips to Bealls Outlet or TJMax to buy something we didn’t need but couldn’t live without and then of course lunch.   Right now I can’t imagine doing those things without you.  Rest in power our sweet friend
Betty.   You will always be missed

A wonderful neighbor and friend. Always ready to stop and chat.  She will be missed, though memories linger.

I am so saddened to learn of Betty's passing.  Betty has been a great support through the years with our dog rescue missions here at  American Lab Rescue.  She was always willing to send a bag of food to a foster in need or donate towards a dog that was in danger at a southern shelter.   I will miss her emails and notes of encouragement, many dogs have been saved by The Gregory's support.   All of us at American Lab Rescue are sending our thoughts and prayers to her family and friends at this time and we wish Betty peace and many Lab friends in Heaven.   You will be missed Betty.
