Carol J. Rinaldi

Born in Boston MA, she was the daughter of (the late) Harold and Barbara Gosselin.

Carol was the devoted mother of Karen (Planeta) Glass and her husband Jason Glass of Marblehead. She was the cherished Nana of Jacob, Dylan and Nolan Glass; and the dear sister of Barbara Holland, William Gosselin, James Gosselin, and Joan Greene. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She grew up in North Quincy Massachusetts, graduated from North Quincy High School with the class of 1965. Upon graduating Carol moved to New York City where she experienced the Big Apple city life. Later, she raised her family in Randolph Massachusetts. She worked for Blue Cross and Blue Shield for 30 years when she retired in 2015. She was a dedicated member of Star of Sea Church in Marblehead where she also volunteered for many years with the CCD program. She enjoyed every moment with her grandchildren and watching their numerous theatrical performances, baseball games at Gatchels and Seaside Park. She also enjoyed a good Minos roast beef sandwich, was an avid Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics and Bruins fan and would spend hours choosing the most sentimental and perfect greeting card for any occasion, to send to those she loved.

She cherished most of all her time spent with family and friends during the holiday season and will be forever missed.

A funeral service for Carol will be held on Wednesday January 10th at 11:00 a.m. at the Star of the Sea Church located at 85 Atlantic Avenue, Marblehead, MA, followed immediately by a reception in the Parish Center across the street. Burial will be private.
