Willie Louis Parker passed away November 28, 2023. She was born January 18, 1939 in New Willard, Texas to Harry and Vena Malone.
She was a member of FFA and she represented her chapter in the Sweetheart contest at the 11th annual Trinity – Neches FFA Livingston Show and Rodeo. She graduated from Leggett High School in Leggett,Texas. She played the piano and she was offered a scholarship in Music at Mary Hardin-Baylor College.
Willie is preceded in death by her husband, Retired Lt Colonel Raymond L. Parker. She was a military wife and mother. She graduated and received a diploma at the Wives Graduation Tea for Career No. 2 Detachment 1, 2nd Student Battalion.
She is survived by her children, daughter, Laura Connie Tucker, son, Preston Parker, daughter Jennie Wilson, and husband, Tom Wilson, grandchildren, Nicole Hevener Cropper, and husband, Chris (Butters) Cropper, Leon Tucker, and wife, Brooke, Parker Roe, and Michael Wilson, as well Brother in law and Sister in law, Jess and Weesa Parker, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Willie’s funeral service will be Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 10:00 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, Texas.
