Molly Kathleen Terrell, 80, of Kingsland, TX, passed away on June 3, 2024. She was born on June 4, 1943, in Tyler, Texas to Floyd and June Martin. She grew up in Kilgore, TX. She graduated from Kilgore High School, Kilgore Junior College, and SHSU.
Molly was a retired 4th-grade teacher and dog groomer. She dedicated her career to educating young minds and caring for animals. She was known for her passion for teaching and her love for all creatures, big and small.
Outside of her professional life, Molly enjoyed all the adventures with her grandchildren to include camping. She also enjoyed watching the planes at the airport while listening to her audiobooks and eating ice cream with her brother. She enjoyed watching the Burnet Esprit De Corps perform during halftime at the Burnet High School football games and all of their competitions so of course her favorite time of year was football season. She enjoyed cheering on the Burnet Bulldogs, Kilgore Bulldogs, Texas Longhorns, and Houston Texans.
Molly was a very caring person who touched the lives of many. She enjoyed working for the OLM pageant. Her kind and compassionate nature endeared her to all who knew her.
Molly is survived by her daughter June Hutson, Son-In-Law Mark Hutson, grandson Kegan Pruessner, granddaughter Katie Pruessner, and Sister-In-Law Violeta Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd Martin and June McConnell, brother Thomas Martin, and stepfather John McConnell. Molly will forever be remembered for her loving soul, storytime, and the joy she spent with her family and friends.
