Betty Jean Clark Beasley

Betty Jean Clark Beasley was born on June 21, 1940, in Goldthwaite, Texas to William Arthur Williams and Reba Aletha Patterson and left this earth on February 17, 2016 at the age of 75. At the time of her death, she resided in Jarrell, Texas.

Betty was a life-long member of the Church of Christ. Betty married James Clark on March 2, 1957 and they were blessed with three children: Vicki, Mike and Sonya. Betty enjoyed league bowling and playing softball for the Marble Falls Fillies during the 60’s and 70’s and you could bet she would never swing at the first pitch. She also was a great seamstress and sewed many dresses for her girls and close friends. After the death of James in 1973, Betty married Bobby Light in 1978. After his death in 1982, she married James Martin Beasley in 1985 and moved to Carlsbad, New Mexico where she resided for 24 years until Martin’s death in 2009.

Betty is survived by her three children, Vicki Patterson, Mike Clark and wife LeeAnn, and Sonya Smith and husband Barry, brother Gary Williams and wife Judy, half sisters Donna Williams and Connie Holmes. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren along with many other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, February 19, 2016 from 5-7 pm at Clements Wilcox Funeral Home, Marble Falls, Texas. Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Marble Falls Church of Christ, Marble Falls, Texas. Interment will follow at the Marble Falls City Cemetery.
